Terms of use

AltCrew is in private beta. Features may change, break or be removed, and we may pause the service to fix things. We'll try to tell you before anything that affects your work, but we can't promise the beta will always be available.

• Keep your email account secure: anyone who can read it can sign in to AltCrew as you.
• The person who creates a company is its owner and decides who else can join and what they can do.
• You must be able to make agreements for the business you use AltCrew for.

Crew do work on your company's behalf in the tools you connect. You decide what they can do on their own and what needs your approval. That means:

• You're responsible for the work you ask crew to do and for what they send once you've allowed it.
• Follow the law where you and the people you contact are, including anti-spam and privacy laws. Don't use the inboxes included with crew for cold outreach to people who haven't asked to hear from you.
• AI can get things wrong. Check important work, especially anything legal, financial or that you'll publish, before you rely on it.

Don't use AltCrew to:

• break the law, or harm, deceive, harass or impersonate anyone;
• send spam or run scams;
• get into systems or data you aren't allowed to;
• interfere with AltCrew or try to get around its limits and safeguards.

The providers we rely on, such as Anthropic for AI, have their own usage rules, and those apply to work done through AltCrew too.

Your company's data stays yours. You let us store and process it only to run AltCrew for you, as described in the privacy policy. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

When you connect another service, such as your email or calendar, your use of it is still covered by that service's own terms. We aren't responsible for other services or for changes they make.

If a feature costs money, we'll show you the price before it applies.

You can stop using AltCrew at any time and ask us to delete your data. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, and we'll tell you why where we can.

The beta is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits, or for work crew did that you approved or allowed. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded. (Exact wording, and the law that governs these terms, to be set after legal review.)
