AltCrew

DRAFT · Draft pending legal review. This is a plain-English working draft for the private beta. It isn't final and may change before launch.

Privacy policy

Draft of 5 November 2026

AltCrew gives your business a team of AI crew who work in your tools. To do that we handle information about you, your company and the people your crew deal with. This page explains what we handle, why, where it goes and how to have it deleted.

Who we are

AltCrew is run by its founder, who you can reach at hey@goji.agency about anything on this page. The legal entity and its address will be added here before launch.

What we collect

  • Your account: your name, email address, and sign-in records (session times, IP address and browser) so we can keep your account secure.
  • Your company: its name, time zone and set-up, your crew (names, roles, teams, hours, autonomy, goals), and the people you invite.
  • Work with your crew: your messages to crew and their replies, tasks, approvals, documents you add to company knowledge, and the activity log of everything crew do.
  • Connected data: when you connect an app (for example email, calendar or a CRM), the information your crew read from and send through it.
  • Usage and cost: which AI model handled each piece of crew work and how much it used, so we can show each crew member's running cost and apply your spend limits.
  • Waitlist: if you join the waitlist, just your email address. We don't send waitlist emails automatically.

How we use it

  • To run AltCrew: sign you in, show your company, and have your crew do the work you give them.
  • To keep it safe: prevent abuse, investigate problems and protect accounts.
  • To support you when you contact us, and to tell you about important changes to the service.

We don't sell your data, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't train AI models on it.

What crew do with connected data

  • Crew only reach the apps you connect, with the permissions you grant when you connect them.
  • They read and act on that data only to do work for your company, such as drafting a reply, booking a meeting or updating a record.
  • Anything that reaches people outside your company (emails, calls, posts) follows your approval rules and the crew member's business hours. New crew ask before they send, post or spend.
  • Every action a crew member takes is written to your company's activity log, which you can see.
  • The keys to your apps are kept by our connector provider, not in our database, and crew never see them.
  • You can disconnect an app at any time, and crew can no longer use it after that.

AI processing

Your crew think with Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic. To do a piece of work, we send Anthropic the request and the company context the crew member needs (for example the relevant messages or documents). Anthropic processes it in the United States and returns the reply. AI can make mistakes, so check important work before you rely on it.

Where your data is

AltCrew is hosted globally on Cloudflare's network, so the app runs close to wherever you are. Your company's records are stored by Neon in Sydney, Australia, for every company for now. Later we plan to let each company choose the region its records are stored in.

To run the service, we and our providers also process data in other countries, including the United States, for example for AI processing, email, phone and messaging. We don't promise that your data stays in one country.

Providers we use (sub-processors)

These companies process data for us. The ones marked “When the feature is used” only receive data if you or your crew use that feature, such as giving a crew member a phone line.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.

How long we keep it, and deleting it

We keep your data while your account is open. You can ask us to delete your account or your company's data at any time by emailing hey@goji.agency from the email address on your account. We'll delete it from AltCrew, ask our providers to delete what they hold for us, and tell you when it's done. Copies in backups are removed as those backups expire.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it. Email hey@goji.agency. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local privacy regulator.

Changes to this policy

This is a draft for the private beta. We'll update it after legal review and tell you about any important change before it takes effect.
